How to Close a Campaign

When a campaign is finished it's time to close it. Follow the steps below to close your campaign. 

Step 1: On the left side of the live feed, you will see a rocket icon and the word IMPACT, click it to open your organization's Impact Tab.

Step 1: Find the campaign you want to close under your Open Campaigns section and click the arrow.

Step 2: Scroll down until you see the CLOSE CAMPAIGN button and click it.

Step 3: Every campaign must have an Update posted under it before it can be closed so supporters will know what happened. If you have already made an Update you can select the first check. If your campaign is a Skills campaign be sure that you have checked in with your volunteer to confirm that they are finished with the work they were doing with you. If they are finished you can select the second check which will enable the CLOSE CAMPAIGN button to highlight. 

Step 3: Once the checks have been made click the CLOSE CAMPAIGN button and your campaign will close.

Congratulations you have closed your campaign! Your campaign will now show up as CLOSED on the Live Feed but people can still see your original post and updates. Your campaign will now move from Open Campaigns within your Impact Tab to Closed Campaigns.
