How to add a species on your organization’s profile

First, go to your organization's profile, and on the right click the Edit Profile button that looks like this:

Then follow the instructions below:

Step 1: Click the Add Species button to add a new species. This will bring up a window where you can add information, photos, videos, and links for each section.

Step 2: Search the Species Database for your species and select it. (If your species is missing let us know!)

Step 3: You now have 2 options.

Option 1: You can click the Browse button and see if another organization has added some Top Fun Facts that you can use.

Option 2: You can add your own Top Fun Facts to use. Be sure to select whether or not you'd like to make your fact public. This will give other organizations permission to use your facts when filling out their species.

Step 4: Next add photos and/or videos of this species. You have 2 options:

Option 1: You can click the Browse button and see if another organization has added photos and videos that you can use.

Option 2: You can add your own photos and videos. Be sure to select whether or not you'd like to make your media public. This will give other organizations permission to use your media when filling out their species.

GOOD TO KNOW: Any facts and media that you share will show that your organization shared it and will link back to your organization. This is a great way to collaborate with other organizations and to widen the awareness of your organization to supporters on the Key platform.
